Mini Map Monday 1

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here, and it’s unclear when I will be back to posting things on a regular basis. In the meantime, I’d like to introduce a new feature on the blog – Mini Map Monday. I’ve long been a fan of hand-drawn maps like the ones at Dyson’s Dodecahedron (and others), and have lately been playing around with drawing maps of my own. I’ve decided to scan and post these mini maps once a week for anyone who might like to use them. There will be little commentary, if any, and they are free to use for non-commercial purposes. Have fun!

I love these maps. As a guy who used to spend hours with a straight-edge making my maps absolutely perfect (now cured of that awful disease), I love both the concept and look. One doesn’t need to plan out every adventure to the n-th degree, and in fact I’ve found the more I improvise the better the game. These are great for side jobs and interludes.

    Thanks for posting these!

Thanks! I’m still trying to perfect my scanner settings. I have to say, your maps are my inspiration, along with all the other folks making hand drawn maps and posting them.
